- 2x4 lumber (6 pieces)
- 3/4-inch plywood (1 sheet)
- 1/2-inch plywood (1 sheet)

Instructions
1. Cut the lumber. Using the cut list below, cut the lumber to the specified dimensions.
- 2x6 lumber:
- 4 pieces @ 84 inches long
- 2 pieces @ 48 inches long
- 2 pieces @ 36 inches long
- 2 pieces @ 24 inches long
- 2x4 lumber:
- 2 pieces @ 76 inches long
- 2 pieces @ 42 inches long
- 2 pieces @ 24 inches long
- 3/4-inch plywood:
- 1 piece @ 76 inches x 84 inches
- 1/2-inch plywood:
- 1 piece @ 72 inches x 36 inches
2. Assemble the bed frame. Start by attaching the 2x6 side rails to the headboard and footboard. Use wood glue and screws to secure the joints. Next, attach the 2x4 end rails to the side rails. Again, use wood glue and screws to secure the joints. Finally, attach the plywood platform to the end rails. Use wood screws to secure the platform.
3. Build the storage box. Cut the 1/2-inch plywood to the following dimensions: 72 inches x 36 inches. This will be the bottom of the storage box. Cut the 2x4s to the following dimensions: 24 inches x 36 inches. These will be the sides of the storage box. Attach the sides to the bottom using wood glue and screws. Finally, attach the plywood top to the sides using wood glue and screws.
4. Attach the storage box to the bed frame. Position the storage box at the foot of the bed frame. Use wood glue and screws to secure the storage box to the bed frame.
5. Sand and finish the bed frame. Sand the entire bed frame smooth and apply your desired finish.
